For the first time, they combine the proven advantages of ball powders such as high performance and easy, precise metering in practically all powder-filling devices with a high temperature stability, which was previously only featured in extruded powders.

The StaBall (pun between ball and stable) powders are currently available in three burning rates:
- The fastest so far is the StaBALL Match, which can best be compared with the non-REACH compatible Hodgdon Varget (of course with other loading data, all of which are available free of charge at www.hodgdonreloading.com)
- The second is the StaBALL 6.5 which is comparable to Hodgdon H4350 or Superformance in terms of burn rate with its wide field of applications.
- The third and slowest is the StaBALL HD, which has a burn rate similar to the IMR8133 and is therefore ideal for large-volume, high-performance cartridges such as 6.5 PRC, 300 Norma Magnum, 300 PRC and 338 Lapua Magnum and many more.

The powders are certified under 1.4C and can therefore be transported more easily together with the other well-known varieties that have been reclassified to 1.4C, such as Hodgdon HS6, CFE223, Superformance and US869.
